Italian designer furniture label Kartell has just launched its flagship store in De Waterkant in the World Design Capital for 2014, Cape Town...
If you're a design junkie, you will find buckets of inspiration at the new Kartell store in De Waterkant. Located in what locals are most likely to call 'the Origin building', in the design hub of De Waterkant, the store is home to some beautiful, modern and minimalist furniture.
Fanatics will be thrilled to see the iconic Louis Ghost Chair by Phillipe Starcke for Kartell (main picture), as well as other popular pieces such as the Bookworm bookcase by Ron Arad, the Battista cart by Antonio Citterio and the Bourgie lamp by Ferruccio Laviani.
Kartell is also planning a flagship store to open in Johannesburg in mid-2012, but in the meantime if you're looking for some interiors inspiration you can find the Kartell store at Shop 2, The Hudson Building, Corner Hudson and Strand streets - De Waterkant. Contact them at capetown@kartellflag.com.
