Jason Wu for Target pictures
All the pictures of well-known designer, Jason Wu's stunning limited edition collection for Target.
Jason Wu is the latest designer to collaborate with Target, the US discount retailer. Jason Wu rose to prominence after Michelle Obama wore a number of his pieces, most notably the gown she wore for the inauguration.
The capsule collection he has designed for Target is priced at $19.99 to $59.99 for clothing and $19.99 to $49.99 for handbags and scarves. Jason Wu for Target will be a limited edition available at Target stores and online at Target.com, from 5 February to 6 March.
Unfortunately, Target do not ship internationally, but take a look at the pictures for a dose of fashion inspiration!
What Jason Wu had to say about the collection:
“My collection for Target embodies my signature aesthetic of feminine sophistication, with a mischievous nod to the 1960s.”
Wu said that he did not want to reproduce his main collection, but rather create a totally new and unique collection. Citing his inspiration for the collection as French new-wave films, he told Glamour.com, " I wanted the collection to have a sophisticated voice with an American sportswear spin."
Wu said of the collection, to WWD, that it “features clothes and accessories that are easily convertible from day to evening - sophisticated, feminine dresses, mix-and-match separates and playful accessories all with a bit of charm and dressed-up attitude.”
