Kate Middleton style: favourite looks

Always the picture of elegance and poise, Kate Middleton is widely admired for her style. Here are some of our favourite outfits and dresses worn by the Duchess of Cambridge...

This story is prompted by Pinterest suddenly being awash with pictures of Kate from a gala celebrating the countdown to the Olympic Games - Kate stole the show in a gorgeous teal green gown with a sheer lace back. That dress! The colour! The button detailing - be still, my beating heart!

The gown was designed by Jenny Packham (who is either going to dress me for my wedding, or funeral, or both) and is the perfect combination of elegant and sexy. Love it!

Jenny Packham also dressed Kate for the ARK 10th anniversary gala event in June last year, in a beautiful rose sequinned gown. 

What I love best about Kate Middleton's style is that while she always looks classy and refined, she doesn't shy away from trends. Some of my favourite looks on her are the ones that aren't from big galas or black tie events, but when she's going more casual.

Kate adopts the bright skinny jeans trend

I just love this outfit! Coral skinny jeans worn with a blazer and printed scarf - this princess knows what she's doing when it comes to fashion! 

Here she is again, rocking another navy blazer while on tour with Prince William in Canada...
